Gustav Eek has many years of engagement in the free software community of Gothenburg, with several commissions of trust. One example is as board member of Fripost, which has enabled free electronic communication since 2010, the yearly conference FSCONS is another. He also has engagements in community banking, locally and on a national level. He has M.Sc. Physics with Complex Systems specialisation. Day time he has been developing optimisation and artificial intelligence applications within the telecommunication and travelling industries between 2011 and 2019.
